The 2019 event was the first to be organised by Running Events. It was a stunner morning in the Bay City with clear skies and little wind. The marathon and half marathon events started in Papamoa and everyone finished in glorious sunshine on The Strand. Harold the Giraffe was one of the final finishers, sweeping to victory in the Mascot Race!
